Ipermatic TEP identifies the range of Drag Finishing machines, made by Rollwasch®, to perform modern and accurate finishing processes on orthopedic components, endoprostheses and implants.
Ipermatic TEP machines allows for fixing the pieces to be worked on suitable frames, avoiding shocks and or protecting peculiar areas whenever required, with suitable masks.
The improved processes allow finishing levels with final roughness equal or up to 0,02 ìm RA.
Improved processes are today available by Rollwasch® thanks to several innovative techniques, such as:
Flow-Booster (Patent pending – I) – an innovative flowing dynamics studied to improve the homogeneous application of finishing energy all over the surface of a part, like spherical components (i.e. such as femoral heads);
Rotodry (Patent pending – I) – an innovative processing technique to obtain the equivalent, even better finish result of a wet process with plastic media, but with a dry process, avoiding water;
Quattrofinish Media (Patent pending – I) – an innovative range of finishing media environmentally sustainable, having very long life on one side and, on the other side, capability to work also without water;
Today, the Ipermatic TEP line offers a good automation level of sub-cycles, towards single or multiple stations, with small investment compared with classic robotized finishing stations or traditional mechanical plants.
The Ipermatic TEP series is composed of several models able to process small, medium or even large numbers of parts per each cycle, as seen in the table below.
