Aluminium castings in an AGTOS tumble-belt shot-blasting machine

AGTOS – supplier of shot-blasting technology – presents competent implementations of practical, modern concepts in surface engineering at the EUROGUSS in Nuremburg, 14.-18. January 2014 in Hall 7A, booth no. 505.

AGTOS offers a complete range of products for surface engineering in foundries. This includes turbine-wheel shot-blasting machines as well as conveyor systems, in addition to offering secondhand shot-blasting machines, spare parts and service for machines of various other suppliers. The retrofitting of existing machines with, for example, magnetic air separators for the separation of abrasive and sand, are also part of product mix.

At the expo, AGTOS will exhibit a tumble-belt shot-blasting machine for the treatment of various castings. This type of machine can be operated as an isolated application as well as in linked lines. There are different solutions to facilitate service works and thus preserve the value of the investment. The advantages amongst others of the special turbine system and the innovative filter technology are also showcased.

Besides the acquisition costs, the operational costs are an important subject when investing in a shot-blasting machine, as these are highly influenced by the costs for wear and spare parts. The choice of the material and the quality of the material play an important role in this. Costs can be reduced in this area by making the parts, such as steel belt traverses (if technically feasible), more durable and easier to mount using innovative manufacturing methods and materials, thus economically producing the parts. Aside from that, accessibility to the machine is decisive.

Operators who are interested in secondhand machines will also make a find at AGTOS. The shot-blasting machines of various manufacturers are examined, defects are professionally eliminated, and the machines are brought up to the "state of the art" regarding the technology.

The commitment to service is consistently implemented by the AGTOS team. It starts with advisory service and sales – also of abrasives – and does not end by far with the maintenance-friendly design of the machines. All visitors to the expo are cordially invited to see this for themselves at the booth or visit the informative website in advance (www.agtos.de).
