7th Leading International Trade Fair for Cleaning within the Production Process and Maintenance in Stuttgart from 20 to 22 October 2009

Great Demand for parts2clean

Neuffen – Where efficient parts cleanliness is concerned, parts2clean is plainly the world’s most highly regarded information and procurement platform for users. Nowhere else is such a broad-ranging, in-depth spectrum of solutions presented for exploiting the optimisation potential offered by the cleaning step in the manufacturing process. And this is resulting in growth for the leading international trade fair for cleaning within the production process and maintenance, even in economically difficult times. Nine months before the 7th parts2clean opens its doors, which will take place in Stuttgart from 20 to 22 October 2009, 80% of last year’s occupied exhibition floor space has already been booked. Within the framework of this year’s event – in addition to the time-tested expert forum – an international convention for industrial parts cleaning will also be held for the first time in accordance with the maxim “Worldwide Requirements, Technologies and Markets”.

As part of the value creation sequence, the cleaning of parts and tools has become an essential manufacturing step in nearly all industries. And ever stricter requirements have to be fulfilled in the face of simultaneously rising cost pressure. parts2clean presents the world’s most comprehensive offerings to this end, which are focussed exclusively on the cleaning process. They include systems, processes and process media for degreasing, cleaning, deburring and the pre-treatment of parts, parts baskets and workpiece carriers, handling and process automation, cleanroom technology, quality assurance, test methods and analysis procedures, media treatment and disposal, job-shop cleaning, research and technical literature. This makes it possible for users from all industry and maintenance sectors to gather information regarding solutions for a great variety of cleaning tasks and the exploitation of potential savings at a single location in a targeted and highly efficient fashion. In 2008, 4482 visitors, roughly 17.5% more than in the previous year, took advantage of this opportunity. They came from a total of 37 countries on four continents.
The emphasis of the event, which is consistently focused on the cleaning process sequence, provides the exhibitors with clear advantages as well. All of the visitors they come into contact with at parts2clean possess high levels of technical expertise and decision making authority, and demonstrate genuine interest in their offerings. “parts2clean is the world’s most important trade fair for us. We haven’t been able to establish this many high quality contacts at any other event”, says Claudia Denniger, marketing director at Dürr Ecoclean GmbH. And she’s not the only one who feels this way. That’s why 121 companies from ten countries have already secured their booth locations for the 7th parts2clean at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre from the 20th through the 22nd of October, 2009. “Numerous exhibitors have reserved more booth floor space than before, so that nine months before the event begins 80% of last year’s occupied exhibition floor space has already been booked”, reports Hartmut Herdin, managing director of event promoters fairXperts GmbH in Neuffen, Germany.

Growth Potential Not Yet Fully Exploited

Due to ever stricter requirements for parts cleanliness in the areas of production, maintenance and reprocessing, solutions are being sought to a greater extent all over the world which offer optimisation potential with regard to economy and quality. “For parts2clean, this results in further growth potential for exhibitor as well as visitor numbers, and of course we’re working in this direction”, explains the experienced trade fair organiser.

Know-How Covering All Aspects of the Cleaning Process

Once again at parts2clean 2009, exhibitor offerings will be supplemented with the time-test expert forum. Practically oriented presentations held by renowned experts from industry, economy and research will make it possible for visitors to enhance their knowledge covering all aspects of industrial parts cleaning. Between 1400 and 1600 visitors have attended the parts2clean expert forum each year in the recent past.

First International parts2clean Convention

Within the framework of parts2clean 2009, an international, bilingual (German-English) convention will take place for the first time which bears the name “Worldwide Requirements, Technologies and Markets”. The driving force behind this convention is the great demand for information on the subject of industrial parts cleaning, in the industrialised nations as well as in growth markets all around the globe – because parts have to be manufactured today to nearly identical quality standards all over the world due to advancing globalisation. As a result, the requirements are also identical – for the parts cleaning step as well. For users of industrial cleaning technology, knowing how to fulfil the specified requirements efficiently is thus decisive for the company’s competitive edge. The parts2clean convention will explore this issue. On the other hand, the convention offers manufacturers important information regarding requirements in other countries as well. And this creates a basis for being able to penetrate new markets successfully.

Concurrent Event: COROSAVE

The new COROSAVE international trade fair for corrosion protection, preservation and packaging will take place concurrent to parts2clean in 2009. It covers the entire spectrum of temporary corrosion protection in production, as well as the preservation and packaging of parts and components during storage and transport. This makes it possible for visitors to gather information concerning product and service offerings for two important production tasks.
