BAIKER AG developed a multi-purpose ALMEN strip holder for internal peening applications. The new innovation shall cut down the costs of peening job shops which used to custom design ALMEN strip holders for the different parts and hole diameters. This free standing device can be adjusted in angle according to request. There are more than 30 hardened replacement blocks available in order to comply with the various hole diameters. The new design simulates a hole and therefore takes credit of all ricochets. Due to this fact, it will represent the actual intensity in a more accurate way; especially compared to the system in which the ALMEN strip is just marked with tape according to hole diameter.
