Riley Surface World has announced an exclusive agreement with Contracor, Germany’s leading manufacturer of portable abrasive blasting and airless spray painting equipment, to distribute its range of pressure-fed shot blasting systems in the UK.

The Contracor system offers both high performance levels and reliability. The range is based around the 100 and 200 litre Contracor pressure pots with various options on the types of air control and media supply valves.

All the units are fitted with a CAF 3 moisture separation trap for the protection of both the blast media and internal parts of the system, giving the units a longer lease of life, even when used with lower quality compressed air.

The units are fully supported with a wide range of spares and accessories, including personal protective equipment, blast nozzles and associated equipment.

Contracor protective clothing includes two types of air fed masks, the "Comfort" and "Panorama", as well as air breathing filters and conditioners, blasting overalls, gloves and other accessories.

The nozzles range includes Tungsten Carbide and Boron lined conventional single Venturi types and double Venturi units, along with the more specialised combined wet blasting and angle firing nozzles.

There is a large selection of Contracor associated products. It includes brass and nylon quick change couplings, blast nozzle holders, blast, twin control and air feed breathing hoses and pipe connectors. In addition, there is a stainless steel, pneumatically operated water pump for converting the blast units to aqueous applications.

Contracor shot blasting systems are the latest addition to Riley Surface World’s expanding portfolio of new equipment, which now includes ultrasonic and conventional cleaning systems, industrial ovens, powder coating booths, container blast rooms and dust extraction equipment.
