On 30 June 2010 an In-house training was undertaken by MFN at HAL Bangalore, India for Basic Shot Peening Course. The training was conducted by Mr. Ananda Talukdar, MFN Trainer. The participants were from HAL Composite Division & Helicopter Division. There were altogether 9 participants. The one day training not only fulfilled the mandatory training requirements as required by NADCAP but also gave an opportunity to make all the trainees familiar with the equipment and materials that they actually use in their own shot peening process.

Since the course was presented to a small group there was a very good two-way communication which helped the trainees in resolving many of their misconceptions on Shot peening. At the end of the training a visit was made to a machine site which gave an opportunity to the trainees to clarify all their doubts.
