Surface engineering plays a crucial role in achieving desired properties and functionalities of a component. As the world strives towards fulfilling the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), it is high time that we consider the sustainability of surface engineering processes to pave the way for the future of manufacturing.

In response to this important topic, we are organizing the 3rd International Conference for Advanced Surface Enhancement (INCASE 2023), which will bring together experts from both industry and academia to identify key R&D trends in surface engineering and catalyze the transition toward sustainable surface engineering through discussions, dialogues, and interactions.

The conference is scheduled to take place at the Holiday Inn Atrium in Singapore from September 26, 2023 to September 28, 2023. Singapore, a financial hub of Southeast Asia, is easily accessed and offers a diverse experience with a blend of culture, art, science, and technology. Our exciting line-up of speakers and experts will discuss traditional surface technologies like peening, coatings, and laser processing, along with emerging topics like hydrogen economy, digitization, and electrification.
