Surface treatment is a key technology in practically all industrial branches. Through its variety of processes and coatings, diverse mechanical, electrical, magnetic and optical surface properties can be produced. The third SURFACTS, as the presentation and information platform for surface treatment, takes all relevant processing and coating technologies into consideration. The international specialist trade fair for surface treatment takes place from 10 – 12 October 2006 in the Karlsruhe Exhibition Centre, Germany.
SURFACTS represents the entire process chain of mechanical (e.g. peening, blasting and vibratory finishing), thermal and chemical surface treatment, including decorative and functional electroplating, as well as thin layer, plasma and nanotechnology. With this programme, the specialist trade fair offers manufacturers of machines and plants for the coating process, pre- and post- treatment as well as parts handling, equally producers and traders of process chemicals, electrolytes, materials and accessories, an established presentation platform in the centre of the market.
