Metal+ Metallurgy Thailand will make its debut on September 18-20, 2019, Bangkok!

Metal+Metallurgy Thailand 2019 is sponsored by China Foundry Association, co-sponsored by Metallurgical Council of CCPIT, Industrial Furnace Institution of CMES, Thai Foundry Association and Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau. It is guided and supported by the Ministry of Commerce of PRC, and has vigorous response from over 30 overseas industry associations including the Foundry Working Committee of "Belt and Road" Industrial and Commercial Associations Alliance, BRICS Foundry Association, the Institute of Indian Foundrymen, Japan Foundry Society, Indonesian Foundry Industries Association, Vietnam Foundry and Metallurgy Science and Technology Association. China is a large country performer in the foundry industry. It has accumulated rich industry experiences during the past several decades of high-speed developments. But at the same time, it is now facing an increasingly saturated domestic market and gradually losing the low-cost advantages. Thailand is a newly industrialized country, and in recent years, the rapid development of its automobile industry and the implementation of a series of measures to revitalize the economy, such as Industry 4.0 and the Eastern Economic Corridor Strategy, have greatly stimulated potential demand for the metal industry in Thailand. The comparative advantages in low labor cost and low land cost in Thailand are significant, and future market development is promising. Moreover, Thailand is an important country in the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area (CAFTA) and along the "Belt and Road". It has zero-tariff advantage and many interests in cooperation with Chinese companies.

At a time when a new round of industrial transformation accelerates the restructuring of the global manufacturing industry, the all-round opening up of the foundry industry has become a historical necessity. Under this background, the China Foundry Association has followed the "Belt and Road" initiative and upholds the commitments to servicing industry enterprises, and is going to build a comprehensive and exclusive metal industry platform that integrates exhibitions, exchanges and cooperation as well as trade negotiations, focusing on the cooperation hotspots and investment needs between Chinese and Thai foundry companies, with the aim to practically promote the dialogue and cooperation of both countries and realize mutual benefit and win-win. There are 6 major themes of the exhibition: Foundry & Metallurgy, Die-casting, Heat treatment & melting, Machine tools & Metalworking, Industrial Automation, Motion & Drives.

Diversified and professional exhibition builds green development industry chain

By closely grasping the pulse of industry development, with the aim of serving enterprises and revolving the theme of “building a green foundry industry chain” through mutual benefit and win-win cooperation”, the exhibition will focus on the upstream and downstream areas of foundry industry and a series of concurrent supporting programs which will showcase the latest Sino-Thailand foundry industry development achievements in multi-angles and in depth, and explore new paths and new measures for cooperation between Chinese and foreign companies.

With the theme of “mutual benefit, win-win cooperation and build a green foundry industry chain”, the exhibition aims at market demand with targeted positioning, and invites high-quality exhibitors and targeted trade visitors. During the exhibition, the founding meeting for Asia Foundry Association, meeting of national foundry associations’ secretary generals, Raw and Auxiliary Materials Forum, Foundry Equipment Forum and a series of industry high-level forums, technical seminars, promotions and press conferences, and Sino-Thai entrepreneurs' exchanges will be held. Other attractive supporting activities, such as the Southeast Asian Buyers Matchmaking Conference, will attract exhibitors and trade visitors from Thailand and neighboring countries.
