MFN’s recent shot peening training, held in Singapore from May 6th to 8th, 2025, brought together professionals and industry leaders for an intensive, hands-on learning experience. Hosted at a premier technical facility, the three-day workshop covered essential and advanced aspects of shot peening technology, process control, equipment, and surface integrity enhancement.

Conducted at a state-of-the-art technical facility, the three-day program focused on both theoretical foundations and practical applications of shot peening. Topics covered included process fundamentals, intensity measurement, coverage, media selection, equipment handling, and surface integrity improvement. Attendees also benefited from live demonstrations and case-based learning sessions, making the training highly interactive and results-oriented.

The workshop created a space for technical exchange and collaborative dialogue, allowing participants to share experiences, ask critical questions, and gain insights into global best practices. Emphasis was placed on the evolving role of shot peening in fatigue resistance, residual stress optimization, and component life extension.
