The 2025 China (Guangzhou) International Metal and Metallurgy Exhibition, hosted by Guangzhou Julang Exhibition Design Co., Ltd., was successfully held from May 10 to 12, 2025, at the Pazhou Exhibition Hall of the Canton Fair—Asia’s largest exhibition venue.

This event brought together cutting-edge technologies and set new trends in the metal and metallurgy industry. With over 40,000 professional visitors and support from more than 300 media outlets worldwide, a total of 468 companies from 28 countries and regions—including China, the United States, Japan, Russia, Turkey, India, South Korea, Singapore, and others—participated in the exhibition. The event showcased the latest international technologies and products across a display area of nearly 30,000 square meters.

The China (Guangzhou) International Metal and Metallurgy Exhibition covered raw materials, processing equipment, and finished products. It was divided into six major thematic sections:

1. Plate Metal Exhibition

2. Tube and Pipe Processing Equipment Exhibition

3. Spring Industry Exhibition

4. Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

5. Casting, Foundry, Die Casting, Forging, Heat Treatment, and Industrial Furnace Exhibition

6. Laser Equipment, Sheet Metal, Non-ferrous Metal Industry (Copper Industry), and Fasteners

Due to the broad extension of products and processing equipment offered by participating companies—from raw metals to downstream processed products—a mutually dependent and robust industrial chain effect was achieved. This resulted in the successful presentation of a complete industrial ecosystem within the metal industry.

The spring industry exhibition area featured a comprehensive range of content, including various types of spring products, spring materials, wire forming machines, spring equipment and accessories, and spring testing instruments. The event attracted well-known companies from across the industry, including major global spring equipment manufacturers. Numerous wire and instrumentation manufacturers also unveiled their latest products.

This section showcased a wide array of products, including steel pipes (such as galvanized pipes, high-frequency welded pipes, spiral pipes, ductile iron pipes, steel-plastic composite pipes, anti-corrosion pipes, insulation pipes, stainless steel pipes, heat exchanger pipes, seamless pipes, precision pipes), pipe fittings, elbows, tees, valves, saw blades, cold-cutting flying saws, high-speed steel saw blades, pipe cutting machines, pipe bending machines, and pipe shrinking machines. The exhibition attracted a significant number of related enterprises. Their participation highlighted the forefront of domestic high-end equipment and technologies, representing the development trend of China’s pipe industry. This section has been widely regarded as a technological highlight of the event.

Exhibits in this section included color-coated sheets, galvanized sheets, aluminized zinc-coated sheets, galvanized aluminum-magnesium sheets, pickled sheets, cold-rolled sheets, and thin cold-rolled sheets. These products are widely used across industries such as automotive, household appliances, construction, decorative engineering, steel structures, guardrails, ceilings, windows and doors, curtain walls, ventilation ducts, fans, cooling towers, electrical control cabinets, kitchen equipment, purification equipment, signage manufacturing, compressor enclosures, hardware, metal mesh, office furniture, oil drums, and storage equipment.

This exhibition area featured a diverse selection of castings, die castings, foundry equipment, foundry materials, forging equipment, industrial furnaces, heat treatment technologies, and related products. Participating companies presented their latest innovations and engaged in exchanges with industry peers and negotiations with buyers to explore business opportunities and technological cooperation.

This section showcased a wide variety of stainless steel products, materials, and related equipment. 

Manufacturers presented their newest offerings and technological advancements.

During the exhibition, feedback collected from multiple exhibitors indicated a strong consensus: the China (Guangzhou) International Metal and Metallurgy Exhibition is an ideal platform for industry stakeholders to engage in communication, learning, and benchmarking. It facilitates in-depth discussions on the future direction of both upstream and downstream sectors, providing valuable insight into market trends, product development strategies, and innovation trajectories.

The media support and promotional efforts of this exhibition were highly praised by participating exhibitors. According to a post-event survey, the majority of exhibitors indicated that their participation met their expectations. A total of 88% rated the quality of visitors as "good" or "very good," while 12% considered it "average." In terms of business negotiations, 58% of exhibitors reported successful transactions, and 75% expressed an intention to follow up with potential clients after the exhibition. Overall, exhibitors expressed a high level of satisfaction with the outcomes of the event.

Domestic visitors primarily came from Guangdong, Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Fujian, Hunan, Guangxi, Shandong, Anhui, Jiangxi, Chongqing, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other regions. International visitors were mainly from Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, India, Thailand, Russia, the United States, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Germany, Vietnam, Australia, Singapore, Egypt, Bangladesh, the United Kingdom, Italy, Turkey, Brazil, Israel, Canada, New Zealand, France, Mexico, Morocco, and Mongolia.

Ninety-five percent of visiting traders expressed strong satisfaction with the scale of the exhibition, booth design, exhibition hall facilities, exhibitor presentation, and the innovation, quality, and diversity of the displayed products. Many traders viewed the exhibition as an essential platform for acquiring technical knowledge and sourcing high-quality products. The event achieved the intended effect of being a "must-visit" for buyers seeking relevant solutions.

A year of dedicated effort has yielded fruitful results, with exhibitors showing great enthusiasm and satisfaction—embodying the exhibition’s stated goal: “Your smile, my wish.” This sentiment reflects the high quality of the attending audience, the impressive presentation of exhibits, and the positive feedback received from all sectors.
