MFN Welcomes a New Trainer in Singapore

Linn Htut Oo Aaron is currently working at Abrasive Engineering Pte Ltd in Singapore as a Quality Assurance Engineer, Management Representative, and Shot Peening Specialist.

Mr. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Wolverhampton, UK, and a Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering (Automation) from Nanyang Polytechnic, Singapore. He has built a strong technical foundation through his education and continuous professional development in areas such as quality systems, calibration, and process engineering.

He joined Abrasive Engineering in 2020 and is responsible for overseeing all shot peening services, including process development, compliance with aerospace specifications, and quality management systems. His role involves close coordination with customers and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to stringent industry standards, such as ISO, NADCAP, and aerospace requirements. He is also actively involved in programming robotic shot peening systems and delivering technical training across the organization.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Aaron has gained extensive hands-on experience in manufacturing and process engineering. Prior to joining Abrasive Engineering, he worked with companies such as Bio-Rad Laboratories, Micron Semiconductor, and Hewlett-Packard, where he was involved in production setup, process optimization, equipment qualification, and quality improvement initiatives across various industries, including medical devices, semiconductors, and high-volume manufacturing.

Through his current role, he has developed in-depth expertise in shot peening process development, automated systems setup, and quality assurance, with strong knowledge of various industrial standards and requirements.

With his solid technical background and practical industry experience, Mr. Aaron contributes to training programs in shot peening processes, equipment operation, and quality systems. His expertise supports the development of best practices and continuous improvement within the industry.
